The barranquilla's Carnival, is a celebration of four days, from the saturday to the tuesday before Ash Wednesday, namely, forty days before Holy Week. Barranquilla receives all kinds of people, from national tourists until foreign tourists, who enjoy, looking the shows, dances and concerts, by the way, there are specific programs for each day, such as the battle of the flowers, the grear parade,guacherna, an orchesta festival with caribbean and latin bands and also the burial of joselito carnaval, that announces the end of the Carnival. The people are used to going out with a big group of friends to the street, usually before and after the shows, where often play in a war of foam, cornstarch and also water.

The visitors will never feel boring because there is always something to do, mainly, enjoy the shows as the amazing street dances, the parades of all the kinds of the typical music and dances, and also the craziest costumes that you've never seen, so, besides enjoy, visitors will laugh, smile, sing and dance.
